Applications are now open for the BRI GAMA International Business Case Competition (IBCC) 2026 in Indonesia. The prestigious international competition is jointly organized by Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) to empower future business leaders through innovation, strategic thinking, and sustainable business solutions.

The competition welcomes undergraduate (S1) and graduate (S2) students from universities around the world. Participants will compete by solving real-world business challenges focused on MSME innovation, sustainability, and global competitiveness.

The competition offers two categories:

Undergraduate Student (S1)

Open Registration

Pre-Competition Stage

Teams submit:

  • Video presentation

IBCC I

Advanced business case analysis and strategic solution development.

IBCC II – Grand Final

Finalist teams present their solutions before a professional jury panel in Jakarta.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Team members must be active undergraduate (S1) or graduate (S2) students
  • Each team must consist of 3 students from the same university
  • At least one member must come from the Faculty of Economics and Business
  • Remaining members may come from other faculties or disciplines
  • Teams must provide a university introduction letter

Previous IBCC II 2024 finalists cannot participate again in the same category.

Required Documents

Applicants need to prepare:

  • CV of each team member
  • University cover/introduction letter
  • Online registration form
  • Paper submission
  • Video presentation

The paper should not exceed 10 pages, and the video presentation should be a maximum of 10 minutes. All submissions must be prepared in English.

Competition Rules

The organizers emphasize academic integrity and professionalism. Any plagiarism detected in reports, presentations, or videos will result in immediate disqualification.

Participants are also expected to maintain the same team composition throughout the competition period.
